We are a french couple, who has started a long journey travelling across the world.
We have adopted a backpacking style of travelling, staying at hostels, cooking as often as we could and taking buses whenever possible, while keeping an eye on the budget.
After several months sharing meals with people we've met along the way we realised cooking is one of the best way to create social link. We have tried many variations of traditional recipes (honestly, tacos have endless options!). We thought we would share the top hostel recipes we have cooked.
All recipes you'll find here are vegetarian, some are vegan. We only had simple kitchens and limited tools, so we are confident you'll be able to do it as well: adapt, improvise, overcome!
We hope you'll try them and enjoy, feel free to leave comments for remarks or suggestions.
Connecting with local makers was another way for us to get to know local people.
Already interested by handcraft materials, we chose to focus on clothing and Mexico was a great place to start.
We hope you'll like what you see on the website. All the people we've met have put a lot of energy in setting up their project or making their products.
